This includes advising and assisting people to achieve property settlements and the resolution of family issues. We use our best endeavours to assist our client to negotiate a resolution based on what is appropriate in the circumstances. If this cannot be achieved, we will assist our client to pursue their rights through the courts.

Recent changes to the Family Law mean that Defacto couples have the same rights as married couples and all disputes flowing from a relationship breakdown are dealt with through the Family Court or the Federal Magistrates Court. Where parties have reached agreement we can formalise the arrangement either through the preparation of a Binding Financial Agreement or Consent Orders. Binding Financial Agreements can be entered into before, during or after the relationship between the parties.

We have a very experienced and well qualified team providing expert advice to our clients in relation to the selling and buying of all types of real estate. Our conveyancing team is headed by a licensed conveyancer. All legal aspects of the work are supervised by Paul Pritchard a solicitor of many years experience. We take the time to explain each aspect of the transaction to our clients and guide them through it with a minimum of fuss. In the course of this we arrange for pest and building reports and strata inspections where required.

We also carry out associated work in the preparation of Options to purchase and the creation of covenants and easements.

We have significant experience in the buying and selling of businesses including franchises, newsagencies and child care centres. Commercial leasing and a whole range of business related law such as employment issues, service contract and corporate law are other areas in which we have significant expertise and experience.
